Hacked WordPress Website in Dubai? A Recovery Plan for Lead-Generation Sites
Prepare a recovery brief for a Dubai WordPress website with suspicious redirects or host warnings. Protect enquiry records and scope cleanup and validation.

If a website starts redirecting visitors or a host restricts access, a Dubai business can lose the enquiry route its sales team depends on. The first objective is a controlled assessment and recovery plan. Random file deletion and repeated restores can make the situation harder to understand.
This guide focuses on lead-generation websites: service pages, contact forms, direct contact links and CRM handoffs. It explains how to commission WordPress malware assessment and recovery with a clear scope, rather than treating a clean-looking homepage as the whole result.
Write down what visitors and staff are seeing
Record the affected URLs, the behaviour observed and when the issue was first noticed. Include a host suspension message or security alert if one exists. Say whether the behaviour appears in both English and Arabic sections, on mobile, or only after arriving from a particular link.
These observations help investigation; they are not proof of a particular cause. An unexpected redirect can come from several places in the website or hosting stack. The first scope should establish what is affected and which immediate actions need the hosting provider, site owner or a specialist.
Agree an interim enquiry route with the business
Decide how genuine customers can contact the team while the affected website is being assessed. The owner may choose to communicate an existing business phone number or another approved contact route through channels they control. The recovery developer should not message customers or publish incident claims without the owner’s instruction.
Keep this operational decision separate from the technical diagnosis. Sales staff need to know which route is currently supported and how to recognise approved test records. That helps prevent a technical repair from creating inconsistent messages about whether bookings or enquiries have been received.
Protect the evidence and the enquiry records
Before cleanup, discuss snapshots, relevant logs and the time range of suspicious behaviour with the host. A recent backup can contain the same problem, while an older clean copy can be missing legitimate enquiries or edits. Choosing a recovery point is therefore a business decision as well as a technical one.
List where enquiries exist: WordPress storage, email, CRM or another integration. Agree how post-backup changes will be preserved if restoration is needed. Initial contact should contain the symptom and URL, not exported customer records or access secrets pasted into a public form.
Scope the cleanup and likely entry-point review
Ask whether the work covers the live installation, related staging copies, affected data and unauthorised access. Clarify what the developer can inspect from the available account and which server-level checks belong to the host. A restricted access level should lead to a stated limitation, not an implied full infrastructure assessment.
A useful cleanup also addresses the likely route of compromise where the evidence allows it. That may require a component update, replacement or another owner action. The WordPress security guidance supports an ongoing risk-reduction approach; one scanner result should not become a promise that the website cannot be compromised again.
Validate the enquiry journey in the agreed languages
After approved restoration and repair, check the selected service pages, menus, mobile layout and administration. Include the language-specific pages that customers actually use. Inspect direct call and WhatsApp routes without sending unsolicited messages.
With explicit approval, a clearly labelled test can establish whether a form record is stored and its notification reaches the intended destination. Record which parts were tested and which could only be inspected. A host or search engine may also require its own review before removing a restriction; its timing is outside the developer’s control.
Request a recovery assessment with the right details
Send the URL, host, observed symptoms, any restrictions and the business functions affected. Mention the published languages, known backup options and the team member who can approve recovery choices. I can assess the brief and propose remote WordPress recovery work from India.
If the investigation finds only a PHP compatibility failure, the appropriate scope may be compatibility repair instead of malware removal. If compromise is confirmed, the cleanup proposal should state the restoration work, remaining risks and follow-up responsibilities before implementation begins.
