SHOPIFY DEVELOPMENT / AGENCY COLLABORATION

White-label Shopify development.
Your agency, in control.

Your team leads the client relationship. I turn an agreed Shopify brief into storefront templates, custom theme sections and responsive layouts, with clear reviews and an editing handover.

I’m Jagjeet Singh, an India-based freelance developer. I work remotely with agency teams in the US, UK and internationally, with communication and working-hour overlap agreed for each project.

Agency review

Proposed review sequence · not a delivered client workflow.

WHEN YOU NEED DELIVERY CAPACITY

Keep the relationship. Delegate a defined build.

If your agency has the design direction and needs hands-on implementation, I can work within your delivery process. Start with a clearly defined page, template or section package rather than an open-ended promise to handle everything Shopify.

  • Design agencies moving approved store layouts into Shopify.
  • Marketing teams commissioning campaign pages or product presentation changes.
  • Shopify agencies needing additional implementation capacity for an agreed scope.

AGREE THE BUILD BEFORE IT STARTS

Shopify implementation your team can review.

Choose the deliverables your project needs. The proposal identifies the templates, sections, responsive states and content responsibilities included.

Approved design to storefront

Implement agreed layouts within the selected Shopify theme. Review spacing, typography, imagery and responsive behaviour against the approved design, including the states your brief defines.

Custom theme sections

Build reusable sections for brand stories, product details or campaign content. Agree which settings editors can change and test the section with representative content before handover.

Product and collection templates

Implement the product information, collection presentation and navigation patterns in your brief. Define the catalogue examples and existing app dependencies that need to work with the templates.

Campaign and content pages

Create storefront pages for an approved campaign or content requirement. Your team supplies or approves the copy, assets and next action; I implement the agreed presentation.

Responsive refinements and fixes

Resolve scoped layout issues, inconsistent sections and mobile presentation problems. Agree the affected pages, expected behaviour and acceptance examples before work begins.

Editor handover and release support

Provide an editing walkthrough and notes for the delivered work. Agree who approves the implementation, who publishes it and which post-release checks or support are included.

Custom apps, specialist integrations, major data migrations and checkout-related changes need separate assessment. They are not included simply because a project is described as a Shopify build.

YOUR CLIENT. AN AGREED WAY OF WORKING.

Communication that fits your delivery process.

You decide whether I work through your project manager, contribute in your tools or join selected reviews. Direct client contact happens only as agreed. Your agency owns design direction and client approval; I take responsibility for the implementation deliverables in my scope.

  • Agree a working-hour overlap and review cadence that suit the project.
  • Use client-controlled store accounts, domains and paid services, with access limited to approved work.
  • Treat added features and changed designs as scope decisions before implementation.
  • Discuss confidentiality or an NDA by agreement; no signed arrangement is implied by this page.

START WITH A REAL DELIVERABLE

A scoped, paid first project.

A defined first engagement gives us a practical way to assess working fit. It could cover an approved product template, a custom section package or a specific storefront improvement. I review the requirements, identify dependencies and provide a proposal before implementation.

Agree the fee, schedule, included review rounds and acceptance checks in writing. There is no fixed package price here: the scope and current store determine the proposal.

FROM AGENCY BRIEF TO HANDOVER

Four steps. Clear decisions.

01

Review the brief

Share the designs, store context, theme and required templates. I identify missing states, app dependencies and questions that affect the implementation.

02

Agree scope and ownership

Confirm deliverables, communication, access, reviews and release responsibility. Confidentiality, agency branding and portfolio permission are agreed before private material is exchanged.

03

Build and review

Review the implementation at agreed checkpoints using representative products and content. Keep one consolidated feedback route so decisions remain traceable.

04

Approve and hand over

Check the agreed pages and interactions, demonstrate editing and record outstanding items. Publish only through the release process approved for the project.

Review before release: use an unpublished-theme preview for the agreed storefront work. It shares the store’s product data and apps; it is not an isolated test store. App, catalogue and account changes need separate approval. Theme licences and checkout capabilities depend on the selected theme, permissions and Shopify plan.

RELEVANT SHOPIFY WORK

BPB Online: storefront structure and product presentation.

My Shopify contribution to BPB Online focused on storefront structure and product presentation for a technical publisher. Review how subjects, collections and individual books are presented, then bring the requirements that matter for your own brief.

This is evidence of relevant Shopify development work. It is not presented as a white-label agency engagement, and I do not claim measured sales or conversion improvements for it.

Bring your catalogue. Let’s review the equivalent journey.

Choose a representative collection and product, then identify the templates, content fields and mobile states your client needs. Use the walkthrough to discuss an implementation brief.

MAKE THE FIRST CONVERSATION USEFUL

What is your agency handing over?

Send what you have; mark anything still undecided. These details help me propose a scope your team can approve.

  • Which pages, templates or sections need implementation?
  • Are the desktop and mobile designs approved?
  • Which theme, apps and existing customisations must remain?
  • Who supplies product content, images and catalogue examples?
  • Who consolidates feedback and gives final approval?
  • What launch dependency, working-hour overlap and handover do you need?

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Before we work together.

We can agree a white-label arrangement covering communication, branding, confidentiality and portfolio permission. Those terms belong in the project agreement. I do not contact your client independently or assume permission to publish the work.

Yes. A bounded, paid first project can cover a template, section package or defined improvement. I review the current store and requirements before proposing the fee, schedule and included reviews.

I am based in India. We agree a useful overlap for calls and reviews, plus a clear place for written updates and consolidated feedback. The arrangement depends on the project; this page does not promise continuous availability.

I explain the effect on the implementation and ask for an agreed scope decision before proceeding. The original proposal defines included deliverables and review boundaries so additions do not become hidden assumptions.

We agree the editable settings during scoping and include an editing handover for the delivered work. The client retains control of the store and paid accounts. Future changes and ongoing support are scoped separately.

Yes. I offer a separate white-label WordPress service for business websites. Keep the two platform scopes distinct so your agency can commission the appropriate implementation and review process.
